What we are looking for:
  •  A quiet, clean, responsible mature person who is gainfully employed  (or a full-time student).
  • Someone who wants to get somewhere in life and is not a deadbeat.
  • Not an alcoholic or drug user, or has a criminal record.
  • Someone who does not have a lot of "stuff" as the rooms are fully furnished.
  • .....and about a dozen other do's and don'ts.....you know by now if you qualify, this is just a descent basic common sense thing.
     
What you can expext:
 
A nice quiet place to call home in a large 24 room house, (or Apartment next door) in the heart of beautiful Downtown Goldsboro (Top Ten City...Money Magazine..1993), where you have your privacy and can pursue your dreams, get back on your feet or whatever your long term goals are. These rooms are ideal for the Commuter, Seniors,  Military Personal, Students, Travel Nurses or the recently separated, as well as Progress Energy & ARR personnel.

If you have time and can mow, paint, wash windows, do house cleaning, electrical or carpentry work or help do deliveries. Then there may be part-time work available for you.

Both the Apartment ($650.00 + deposit) and the Room ($500.00 + deposit) is FULLY FURNISHED This includes Appliances, Microwave, Utensils, linens, silverware, television, etc.
even Road Runner High Speed Turbo included.

There is NO LEASE, just a 90 day commitment.

The only difference between them is that the Room has all utilities included. The apartment will need to have the gas & power turned on in your name. Water, garbage pick up is included in both. 

The deposit will be waived for Full Time Law Enforcement Officers and Active Duty Military Personnel.

Both Rooms "B" & "D" as well as 
Apartment "A" are available at the time of the latest update.

You will not be responsible for mowing and there is off road parking. Outside pets are okay, or a small well trained inside pet will be considered (for the apartments).

Travel Nurses:

To ensure that your room is "locked in", once you have finalized your travel contract and are sure that you want a room or an apartment. Send your check for the first month's rent & deposit to:

Once the check is received, the apartment will be held for you starting on the 1st day of the month (or the 15th day of the month whichever is agreed upon). Then 30 days later, (1st or 15th) the rent is due for your second month. When the rent is due for your third month, instead of paying anything, your deposit will be applied to that final month, unless you decide to stay on another and renew your contract with your nursing recruiter.

Some do the 90 days and move on, some stay on indefinitely because they love Goldsboro so much.

Check Out Time

The rental cycle starts  on the 1st day of the month or the 15th day of the month. If a room is available early, we have no problem with you coming a few days early to get situated. However, the apartment should be clear on the last day of the month (or the 14th day of the month) for the next renter.
